Ahh Topshop; everyones high-street favourite. Just when I was feeling like I’d ‘outgrown’ you (whatever that means), you surprise me again. I bought these fur balls last week and, my oh my, do I love them. Sexy yet playful. I wore them to a wedding last weekend and got a number of compliments from both men and women. The study block heel is a twist on the stiletto heel that fluffy pumps usually come with and, because of them, I managed to dance the night away in comfort. These come highly recommended!

Love the detail on this top. I’d probably pair it with colbolt bottoms, a slick, super long ponytail and bold, winged eye-liner for a subtle yet graphic look. Perhaps I’ll pick this up for my upcoming b’day celebrations… :-)

Lately I’ve been feeling uninspired by what I am seeing on the high street. I went shopping last Monday and nothing, literally nothing, jumped out at me. Annoyingly! I’ve bought bodysuit number one though, the one with the thin straps which looks a little saucy on (iPhone snap below). I’m looking forward to dressing this up with either a skirt and heels or some denim for a casual look :)
Nothing like a touch of outfit inspiration to get you started in the morning! On this February morning, I’d probably opt for this first outfit here but I do love getting colour happy every so often.
Have a great day beauts, and enjoy your weekend :)

It feels so good to be back and blogging. Last couple of months have proven to be very busy, but I am happy that I can finally make time for blog, which i love!
So this is what I wore to the office the other day. I absolutely adore this Topshop blouse in flower and feather print. Colours are very autumnal which makes dressing it, for a colour-phobe like me, quite easy. I paired it with my shaggy H&M waistcoat, Topshop Moto jeans and over the knee boots.

So November came and went in the blink of an eye, literally. I don’t really know where the month went but it was a good one at that. I’ve booked a trip to Berlin over New Years, exciting! Berlin has always been a favourite city of mine so spending NYE there will be pretty epic although I’m going to have to practice wearing practical, warm clothing more similarly to what I’m wearing today. Typically I would have paired this cute jumper dress with some chunky boots but its.just.too.cold! December’s has always been a month when comfort comes first so the heels may be on hold for a while.
Hope you have a great weekend beauts!

I’m off to Switzerland tomorrow for two days. Literally a flying visit; I’ll be back home on Sunday evening. This time I’m much more excited as there’s a whole heap of fun and good company waiting for my arrival. When I lasted visited back in July it was sunny skies and birds tweeting. What with tomorrow being the first of November I’m expecting it to be straight up cold! I’ve decided to play it smart and prep a few outfits; a skill I like to think I have mastered over the years. I already showed you what I’m wearing on Saturday in this post. Clearly I’m planning on the defying the weather… haha! In transit, I’ll be keeping it pretty snug and standard in…
Outfit one: (Elena added the suggestion of knee high socks with this – genius!)

Hope you guys have a great weekend. Live it up!
She says girls run the world but I’m now starting to think that it’s just her behind the steering wheel. News has leaked that Queen B is launching an athletic-focused line in partnership with high-street dominant Topshop. With designers yet to draw up the range it’ll be a while before this collabo hits the market, but we can still get excited right?!

So glad it’s the middle of the week; it means we’re getting closer to all important Friday! I’ve decided to throw a night of ping pong this coming Saturday at good ol’ Bounce in Central London to commemorate finishing uni. Should be fun! Not that I am planning on wearing the above outfit there of course! Imagine that?! No, no, no! But I did order this dress from River Island last night and I’m thinking of wearing it next weekend. I’m going to Switzerland again just for two days for a night out. Loving the improvisation on the top half of this dress – it should work quite nicely for a hard-meets-soft transitional look that’s not too dressy nor casual. I’ll keep it dressy with some saucy stilettos but play it down with an open, slightly oversized bomber jacket. And make-up, I’m going to go for a more flawless look by using a range of bronzers, gloss and illuminators rather than something heavy. Let’s hope I don’t start singing ‘I woke up like this!’ Haaaa, we’ll see how this works! Have a great day beauts!

And just like that summer ended…! Well if you live in London then you’ll know that summer ended about a month ago. Me and El have been saying that this is the earliest we’ve ever had to unpack our winter wardrobes. Oh well, I guess we can’t have it all! I’m back at work from Monday so I’m planning to invest in some key pieces that’ll see me into the autumn what with September knocking on our doors and all. It’s going to be a cold one this year and we’re both preparing our wardrobes for it as of now. This autumn/winter I’m all about clean cuts, dark tones and, strong silhouette, like this outfit I’ve thrown together for you above.I’ve always considered navy and grey to be a bit of a winning combination. Polo necks are a staple for me every winter and last year I lived in them. You might remember this outfit here. With that said Autumn
I think I’m ready for you!

Finally, this weekend has arrived! We (me and my siblings) booked our trip back in January. A good family friend of ours is getting married so we’ve decided to make a flying visit. When travelling I enjoy keeping things light, hence the sexy/casual double denim look above which is what I’m currently wearing. With 28 degrees heat waiting for us as soon as we land, the shorts are a must as are the Toms. I’ll try grab some snaps for you over the weekend. You have a good one too!

Sales have come to the high street! Don’t you just love a good bargain? I decided to be very organised and check them out before all the good stuff is gone. Here are the items that I have added to my basket.
1. Zara top with necklace 2. Goldie of London gold sequin skirt 3. Topshop chiffon frill sleeve dress 4. Topshop floral one shoulder dress 5. Zara slingback pumps 6. Zara pencil skirt with pleated hem 7. Topshop stipe lace crop dress.
One of my ultimate favourite looks was one by actress Emma Stone. This bold simplicity wins over frills and embellishments that walked down the red carpet at the Met Ball last week. Pink on pink is definitely a winning combination!
Here is how you can get the look with the help of high street. Lazer cut top from Topshop, Michelle viscose maxi skirt from Boohoo, Zara metallic high heels, Natasha Couture box clutch.
