Ahh Topshop; everyones high-street favourite. Just when I was feeling like I’d ‘outgrown’ you (whatever that means), you surprise me again. I bought these fur balls last week and, my oh my, do I love them. Sexy yet playful. I wore them to a wedding last weekend and got a number of compliments from both men and women. The study block heel is a twist on the stiletto heel that fluffy pumps usually come with and, because of them, I managed to dance the night away in comfort. These come highly recommended!

A little birdie told me that Spring’s hottest shoes are flats with a little pointy toe and ankle straps. Oasis hit the nail on the head with these cute pairs. They are such great fit I just had to get myself both colour combinations. This elegant shape will work well with both the casual outfits and pretty dresses. I have to say I am getting used to the idea of wearing a flat shoe, but when they are so cute, who can resist?

Air Max Thea – Pair One here // Pair Two here
My Monday fix! Hmm cute right? My fetish for Nikey’s hasn’t gone away since I bought these last winter. I’ve told myself that I’m going to be good this year and not buy more than one or two pairs. I have quite a few that I rarely wear so only I’m taking the stance of only conscientious shopping from now on. Haha, well I can at least try anyways right… Really feeling these black Air Max Thea’s by Nike. I bought an orange pair a few months ago; remember these? I now need a new pair to see me through winter but I think it’s time to tone it down a little. Really like the bottom pair, the ones on top are cute too. We’ll see which way I swing!
Sales have come to the high street! Don’t you just love a good bargain? I decided to be very organised and check them out before all the good stuff is gone. Here are the items that I have added to my basket.
1. Zara top with necklace 2. Goldie of London gold sequin skirt 3. Topshop chiffon frill sleeve dress 4. Topshop floral one shoulder dress 5. Zara slingback pumps 6. Zara pencil skirt with pleated hem 7. Topshop stipe lace crop dress.
Another animal print addition to my shoe collection. I could not resist taking a pic of these printed leather sandals from Zara as soon as they came out of the box! These sandals are a perfect summer staple! I will be wearing them with my mini messenger bag in leopard print, also from Zara, here. Don’t you think they will look great together?
This is my look from last Saturday afternoon. Featuring my ultimate favourite coat from River Island. Love it so much that one day I will clone it in every colour possible.
I’m wearing, River Island waterfall coat (old), Zara top, Calzedonia leggings and grey suede heels from Next.
Better late than never but never late is better I know, but, ‘it’s been a while’ is an understatement! The good girls here at the Coup have done a sterling job keeping you Coups and Coupettes up to date and ahead in this wonderful world we call Fashion. However, just as the old seasons fade and the new ones bloom, I’m back to brighten up the days.
Although I’ve been away, the shopping never stops! On many occasions, I tried and tried and tried to resist temptation and stay clear of the high street. It worked, until I saw this black velvet two tone bomber jacket with leather sleeves from Zara.
It was paid for and packaged (all in my head) before I had even tried it on! It was a ‘must have’ as soon as saw it.
I wore a pair of black ripped skinny jeans from Zara to compliment the bomber jacket.
Now finding these Orange Patrick Mohr Kx1 (sold out everywhere) trainers was like trying to mine gold in England. Search upon search, avenue upon avenue and one lead after the other, I kept coming up with nothing. I finally got my hands on a pair and parted with a lot of my money but it was money well spent! Last but not least, I accessorized with a Michael Kors black chronograph silicone strap watch.
It’s good to be back.

It’s not often that I buy plain pumps. My favourites usually involve some kind of print or at least chain detail across the front. My friend actually bought these before me in a burgundy colour a few months ago but I recently decided to opt for the black pair in this years sales. A classic cut, and I really like the hard-meets-soft incorporation of both suede with a clean looking leather finish. New staple shoe? I think so. Well, perhaps when it gets a little warmer outside…!

It seems as though the summer has well and truely desserted us! However, I have a few rays left in me. This will be the last of my ‘summertime fine’ collection as its now time for my ‘winter time cold’ swag.
Dear Summer, it was a pleasure. So long, farewell.

This week I will be doing a ‘how to’ trilogy on how to wear these Zara separates. Today I am going to start with how it was initially intended – to be worn together.
I have to admit that I’ve had this Zara suit combo in my wardrobe since February before I braved wearing it last week. And I cannot believe I have left it this long! I love the fit and the feel of the fabric.
This Japanese flower print couldn’t be more on trend for this Fall, worn with big crystal chandelier earrings it’s reminiscent of 1920’s ‘lounging’ ladies.
I have slipped on theses strappy heels from ASOS – open toes make the overall look less heavy.
What do you guys think? Do you love it as much as I do?
P.S. We are trying a little GIF action, let us know what you think of this new element!
The gold rush is back and I’ve found my treasure! It’s been a while since I last donned some neck pieces but the urge is back and the word id GOLD.
As I’ve said before, every well dressed man should always wear a watch, but that watch needn’t put a dent your pocket. I opted to go with a classic piece for this outfit and wore a Casio watch. Cheap and cheerful, ever so reliable and always fashionable.
I’ve got an addiction for crisp, clean looks and I’m a fiend for a plain white shirt. Modeling this textured cotton slim fit shirt from Zara has left me feeling so fresh and so clean. Blurred Lines seems to be the summer anthem but thankfully I can’t relate because I have on my 3D spectacles making my views spec-tacular. I simply removed the lenses and Bobs your uncle……. you know the rest. 2 Chainz isn’t the only person with 2 chains (although there’s hardly a comparison in size and in price) as I too have one neck and 2 chains. Bought from ebay, they’re the best buy, accessory wise, for me this summer.
This is a Zara inspired outfit as I’m decked out from head to toe in their merchandise (they should really start paying me!). Playing it safe, I’m wearing black circular trousers.
These are the latest addition to my shoe collection. Black Monk strap shoes from Zara. Unfortunately no monk-like behavior resulted from wearing these, although, the only meditation I wanted to practice, was being at one with some laminate flooring, shuffling from side to side underneath a disco ball.

Growing up, every boy wanted to be in the army, wear the uniform, holster a gun and destruct all before him in a tank. Thankfully for me, ageing and wisdom camouflaged that dream as I’m too pretty to fight and too young to die.
Not wanting to look like an attendee at a fancy dress shin dig or the latest recruit on the front line, I’ve opted for some contrast with this leather panel sweatshirt from Zara.
Dressed in a pair of camouflaged jeans courtesy of Zara, is as close as I’m willing to get to that dream.
This look wouldn’t be complete without a pair of Converse. I’m wearing black All star hi leather thinsulate boots.

If you have been following this blog for a while you will know that I have a mini obsession with velvet. After talking about it here and here, I have decided to invest in a piece for my wardrobe. And what’s more versatile than a pair of shoes. These flats come from Zara and I am absolutely in love with them!
