Finally, this weekend has arrived! We (me and my siblings) booked our trip back in January. A good family friend of ours is getting married so we’ve decided to make a flying visit. When travelling I enjoy keeping things light, hence the sexy/casual double denim look above which is what I’m currently wearing. With 28 degrees heat waiting for us as soon as we land, the shorts are a must as are the Toms. I’ll try grab some snaps for you over the weekend. You have a good one too!

May – my month! I have a feeling it’s going to be a good one this year… :)
Hope you guys have had a good week. Apologies for the radio silence, it’s been a hectic one for me. I handed in one of my final assessments for uni on Tuesday. Gosh, I can’t wait till I finish my course in September!
For now though, I’m just happy it’s Friday. The sun making more and more frequent appearances is reminding me that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Hoping to compliment that light, I’m wearing a distinctively effeminate summer dress today. I hope you all enjoy your weekend. My fun will be starting at Janelle Monae’s London gig tonight. Is excited a word?

Today marks the official beginning of the London Olympic Games. It feels like we’ve been waiting ages for the Games to arrive since we won our bid back in July 2005. As I’m feeling a little patriotic today I want to pay homage to our amazing athletes; here are a few items that do the same thing. Now, let the Games begin!
