Oh how I love animal print. I always find a way to work it into my look. Last weekend I was sporting this fabulous leopard print poncho from Oasis. It was a little too chilly to wear it alone so I threw Zara faux fur shawl over it. Cosy and warm!
This time last year I have debuted my lovely Valentino dress here. I remember this day clearly, prancing around in Spring sun. A year later I am still in love with it as much as when I first tried it on. It’s a shame I do not have enough fancy occasions to wear it to!
I have however made the most of these blue sandals from Dune. I saw that they extended Hydro line with iridescent pink and gold versions… Very tempting!
Speaking of coats, here is what I wore the other weekend. Ah how i love my rabbit fur coat! You first saw it here and now its back in a more casual look. Paired with my new Lacoste trainers it’s perfect for running errands on a frosty Sat morning.
It feels so good to be back and blogging. Last couple of months have proven to be very busy, but I am happy that I can finally make time for blog, which i love!
So this is what I wore to the office the other day. I absolutely adore this Topshop blouse in flower and feather print. Colours are very autumnal which makes dressing it, for a colour-phobe like me, quite easy. I paired it with my shaggy H&M waistcoat, Topshop Moto jeans and over the knee boots.
I bought my first cape last winter from Oasis, its black and its soft. and I have worn it to death since then! This winter its all about printed capes, following Burberry’s lead when they debuted a ‘blanked’ coat. Is it a cape or is it a blanked? Could be both and I am a massive fan! I love the idea of throwing it on and not having to worry about the fit or feeling like a stuffed sausage with all the other layers.
Just wrap yourself in softest wool and face the cold autumn day. Here are a few that caught my eye on British high street.
Finally, this weekend has arrived! We (me and my siblings) booked our trip back in January. A good family friend of ours is getting married so we’ve decided to make a flying visit. When travelling I enjoy keeping things light, hence the sexy/casual double denim look above which is what I’m currently wearing. With 28 degrees heat waiting for us as soon as we land, the shorts are a must as are the Toms. I’ll try grab some snaps for you over the weekend. You have a good one too!
They’ve arrived, yay! Ooh I didn’t think I’d adore this shoe and clutch combination so much but together they are pure harmony. It looks as though my outfit for the wedding this weekend is complete. I must say that after a whole 3 months of worrying about what I’d wear ‘relieved’ doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel. I bought jewellery the other day too soI’ll share that with you soonish. For now though, Happy Tuesday!
Happy Friday everyone!
How are you all doing? It’s been a while since we last blogged, life sometimes gets a little too much. I have decided to take a break and will be going on holiday tomorrow! Destination – Marrakech, Morocco! I have been to Africa a few times, but never up north. I am very excited to immerse myself in Morrocan culture, explore Medina, try my hand at bargaining at the souks and taste their cuisine.
Morocco is a traditional Muslim country. Even though Marrakech is very touristy, when travelling I am always very aware of respecting cultures, so for this holiday I will have my shoulders, chest and knees covered.
I am also looking to do quite a bit of shopping. I want to bring back souvenirs for friends and family as well as a few pieces for my home, so it is absolutely vital I travel light! Here are 5 outfits I have planned for my trip:
Travelling in comfort is essential! These harem H&M trousers in loose fit are very soft and comfy, plus my favorite Accessorize bag is big enough for all my in-flight accessories. Top from ASOS; Flip flops also from ASOS.
It will be very hot in Morocco, but silk animal print trousers from Zara will keep me nice and cool. This long-line light knit cardigan from H&M will be perfect for covering up when exploring souks.
Maxi satin skirt from H&M will be my savior from blaring heat.
I love a great animal print and these leopard trousers from ZARA are exactly what I craved for this summer. I really like the fact that the pattern is a touch darker on the back – working wonders on my behind! But it seems that all trousers cut differently making the gradients appear different on each pair. I have decided to offset the straight trouser cut with black peplum top from ASOS, Bershka heels (old) and a gold ring from NEXT.
This is my look from last Saturday afternoon. Featuring my ultimate favourite coat from River Island. Love it so much that one day I will clone it in every colour possible.
I’m wearing, River Island waterfall coat (old), Zara top, Calzedonia leggings and grey suede heels from Next.
I bought this beautiful Goldie crochet dress during winter months, long before I could even dream of wearing it. The other weekend, it’s moment to shine finally came!
This dress has a contrasting crochet pattern yoke with lace trim across front and back. Paired with thin strappy white Zara heels, it creates a heavenly combo.
Goldie London Rosie crochet dress, grey version here; Tiffany ring and Forever 21 earrings (old).
