Oh how I love animal print. I always find a way to work it into my look. Last weekend I was sporting this fabulous leopard print poncho from Oasis. It was a little too chilly to wear it alone so I threw Zara faux fur shawl over it. Cosy and warm!
A little birdie told me that Spring’s hottest shoes are flats with a little pointy toe and ankle straps. Oasis hit the nail on the head with these cute pairs. They are such great fit I just had to get myself both colour combinations. This elegant shape will work well with both the casual outfits and pretty dresses. I have to say I am getting used to the idea of wearing a flat shoe, but when they are so cute, who can resist?

I’m taking these denim shorts out for one more outing before September comes! Its so good to get your pins out in the sun, if only this mini tan would last a little longer!
I like wearing formal shirts when baring legs, that way I feel less beach babe and more city chic.
I am wearing (all old items): Oasis white shirt; Calzedonia denim shorts; Zara mini messenger leopard bag; Zara leopard kitten heels; H&M gold feather earrings and a gold cuff.
Apologies; we haven’t updated our blog in a while. Between travelling and battles with flu, life has been nothing short of crazy for us both. But fear not, we are back with a vengeance, with something hot for you to get your claws into…
Leopard print has made a huge come back this Autumn and since early September we’ve been seeing the big cat print everywhere. But the Leopard print is one that can go terribly wrong if you’re not careful. Our advice to you is that you incorporate small, statement pieces here and there; toning them with denim, leather and other simple materials. Here’s a little leopard inspiration for the big cat in you.
Animal Print Crew Top – Oasis; Leopard High-Heel Sandals with Studded Ankle – Zara; Leopard and Skull-Print Cashmere & Silk-Blend Scarf – Alexander McQueen; Leopard Print Gloves – Maison Scotch; Leopard Print Hair Calf Belt – Lauren; Animal Print Clutch – Guess by Marciano;
One of this seasons strongest trends is dark, mysterious and sexy. I wanted to wait until the evenings became darker and weather a little gloomier to write about this trend, as it doesn’t bode well with the sunshine. Now, in October, it’s the perfect time to explore your ‘inner goth.’ I am not sure if any of you have experimented with this before, but I certainly dabbled with black netting and eye liner in my teens. And even though I have emerged from the days I spent as a goth, this seasons trend of Gothic Fairytale is very close to my heart. Countless designers have sent models wrapped in black lace; Dolce and Gabbana (top) emerging the most opulent of them all. Something about an occasional flash of skin makes you feel very powerful and sexy without trying too hard. Here are my best picks. From feather to velvet, release your ‘inner goth.’
Clockwise from top left, Day Birger et Mikkelsen Night Velvet Lounge embellished cape from Outnet.com; Warehouse mesh panel faux leather dress; Oasis flocked gothic dress; Accessorize crystal lizzard brooch; Topshop’s velvet cut out body; Topshop’s father capelet; Oasis long sleeve lace Victoriana top; H&M boots; MAC matt lipstic in Diva; Assad Mounser glass bead and chain collar necklace availablke from Net-a-Porter.
Taken at London Fashion Weekend, these runway shots confirm that incorporating shades of indigo in your winter wardrobe is a must. This year however, it’s all about creating a fresh spin on your indigo pairings by using grey, khaki, violet colours and boyish tailoring to vamp up your blue. So add some oversized garments, create masculine silhouettes and transform yourself into ‘Sergeant Indigo’.
Cotton Tweed Trench Coat – £1795, Burberry Prorsum; Maybray Crew Jumper – £70, Aubin & Wills; Stud Western Shirt – £45, Oasis; Military Patched V-Neck Dress – £55, Oasis; Lace Insert Yoke Tee – £20, Warehouse; Premium Herringbone Mensy Blazer – £85, Topshop Unique; Palazzo Trousers – £44.99, Mango, Zemorah Suede & Leather Mini Skirt – £325, Dagmar; Cutout Suede Platform Ankle Boot – £720, Giuseppe Zanotti
Two new additions to my shoe collection-absolute must have pumps for this season. Leopard print with velvet toe, I can’t live without, from Oasis (£35) and a Dynamo slipper from Miss Selfridge (£30), all over studs and small black heat. These two are super versatile, whether its to complement a day outfit, or for an easy relaxed night time look. I am sure pay-per-wear will be totally justified with these pairs!
Yes, i have been going on about leather for a while now… But there is no surprise when it comes to autumn- leather always makes a come back. But this season there are more than one way to wear your leather, depending on which look you go for. Would it be ladylike as Olivia Palermo in her leather dress or something with an edge, like Jessica Alba. Office ready or weekend comfort as seen on Alexa Chung. Our favourite items get a leather make over and I am sure you will agree that leather is always best in black!

this Cut Out Detail satchel from Oasis. I don’t think this picture does the satchel
much justice – having the bag physically in front of you will make you want to
purchase it right away! Its cut out detail adds a very vintage twist to the satchel,
transforming it into that perfect everyday bag with a bit of character. Classic and
cute; I love it! And at £30.00 it’s a bargain too!
