Have a great day beauts, and enjoy your weekend :)
Happy Wednesday guys!
As you can see, I’m keeping it cool, calm and collected today in a simple pair of jeans and tee, matched with a faux fur coat and hat. The pop of colour on my nails are brightening up these grey January days and keeping me smiling for now.

I bought my first cape last winter from Oasis, its black and its soft. and I have worn it to death since then! This winter its all about printed capes, following Burberry’s lead when they debuted a ‘blanked’ coat. Is it a cape or is it a blanked? Could be both and I am a massive fan! I love the idea of throwing it on and not having to worry about the fit or feeling like a stuffed sausage with all the other layers.
Just wrap yourself in softest wool and face the cold autumn day. Here are a few that caught my eye on British high street.
Finally, this weekend has arrived! We (me and my siblings) booked our trip back in January. A good family friend of ours is getting married so we’ve decided to make a flying visit. When travelling I enjoy keeping things light, hence the sexy/casual double denim look above which is what I’m currently wearing. With 28 degrees heat waiting for us as soon as we land, the shorts are a must as are the Toms. I’ll try grab some snaps for you over the weekend. You have a good one too!
With the turning of spring, both myself and El have been swapping our darker, more warmer garments for softer, more subtle shades. As promised here’s my new wrap dress from H&M. Wrap skirts and dresses have reappeared this spring and you probably will have noticed a few high-street stores endorsing them. I think they strike a perfect balance between playful and modest. There’s nothing like a little twist every so often.
Second outfit post of the year, doing well aren’t I…?! How embarrassing!! I don’t really know how I’ve gotten to February with only two outfit posts under my belt. El has definitely been holding it down for #teamcoup since ’13 turned.
The whole world slows down in the first month of the year; surely I’m not alone in that boat…
Or perhaps I am! Anyways, starting as I now mean to go on, here’s todays outfit. What d’ya think?! The monochrome stripes are making me feel all Parisian, I should have put on a beret to add a little extra je ne sais quoi.
I couldn’t resist getting my Beyonce on with a little GIF animation for you! Haha, I bought this skirt from BooHoo about a month ago. They said it would look like it had been made of feathers. That’s not quite the case but it’s still okay for having a little shake in.
As you can see, I is a happy bird! I hope you beautiful people are doing just fine too! I promise to be back again soon :)
Santa baby, I think we’ve been a pair of good girls this year. Don’t you?
Mulled wine, festive cheer and copious amounts of mistletoe: the countdown to our favourite time of the year is officially here. And what better way is there for us to prepare for the festivities then with our very-own advent calendar.
For the next 24 days we’ll be bringing you stocking fillers and great gift ideas sure to get any Scrooge excited about Christmas , kicking off with…
Any one that has had the pleasure (and stress) of rummaging through my wardrobe will vouch for my fondness of colours. In my eyes, all things bright are beautiful.
A little under two weeks ago my amazing colleagues treated me to a birthday shopping trip in central London. After spending hours – which felt like minutes – getting lost in Topshop I decided on this mini number by London brand, TFNC.
Now I know the colours are a little on the bright side but I absolutely adore this piece! The focus on block colours meant that it was easier and best to keep my accessories to a minimum. A perfect time to wear those ASOS ‘Hollywood’ heels I bought a couple months ago. Likewise the feathered simplicity of my clutch bag and my timeless, gold Michael Kors piece helped add both texture and jazz.
Now all we need is the sunshine to last…!
I wish I was wearing this little combo today. I love the waterfall cardigan. It’s totally perfect for wrapping it around yourself in this cold weather. Leather trousers have always been a must, especially loose fitted ones which are perfect for both comfort and style. And Kitty Flats, need I say any more?
Simple Pyramid Stud Earrings – Accessorize; Draped Cashmere Cardigan – Idris and Ink; Cut Out Vest Body – Miss Selfridge; Tri Hardware Chain Bag – Topshop; Leather Track Pants – See by Chloe; Kitty Flats – Charlotte Olympia;
It’s not very often that we look back in time for inspiration. We forget that before year ‘2012’ there were amazing women who influenced fashion, and the way we see a woman’s body. Sophia Loren, in my opinion is one of the most dazzling of all. Her super sexy personal style, a particular ease of wearing clothes is something you have to be born with for sure however Sophia’s greatest accessory was confidence, and today we see many Hollywood starts replicating the microscopic part of her style. These are my favourite shots of Sophia Loren.
