So November came and went in the blink of an eye, literally. I don’t really know where the month went but it was a good one at that. I’ve booked a trip to Berlin over New Years, exciting! Berlin has always been a favourite city of mine so spending NYE there will be pretty epic although I’m going to have to practice wearing practical, warm clothing more similarly to what I’m wearing today. Typically I would have paired this cute jumper dress with some chunky boots but its.just.too.cold! December’s has always been a month when comfort comes first so the heels may be on hold for a while.
Hope you have a great weekend beauts!

And just like that summer ended…! Well if you live in London then you’ll know that summer ended about a month ago. Me and El have been saying that this is the earliest we’ve ever had to unpack our winter wardrobes. Oh well, I guess we can’t have it all! I’m back at work from Monday so I’m planning to invest in some key pieces that’ll see me into the autumn what with September knocking on our doors and all. It’s going to be a cold one this year and we’re both preparing our wardrobes for it as of now. This autumn/winter I’m all about clean cuts, dark tones and, strong silhouette, like this outfit I’ve thrown together for you above.I’ve always considered navy and grey to be a bit of a winning combination. Polo necks are a staple for me every winter and last year I lived in them. You might remember this outfit here. With that said Autumn
I think I’m ready for you!

Love this drape dress by H&M. The cut, the colour and the price. At only £14.99 it’s a bargain, I’m so tempted to buy it in every colour…! I snapped it up about 3 weeks ago. It’s gorgeous on. I wore it the other day and the compliments wouldn’t stop rolling in. I’ll dress it up for you soon!

It’s windy outside.
Like, really windy.
Which makes it really, really tricky to catch some decent photos. Annoying, although I should be glad it’s not raining instead…!
As you guys are fully aware, I’ve been sporting a lot of blacks and greys lately. Today though, I’m (thankfully) feeling like my old self again so I’ve popped into something a little colourful.
Why I feel like putting some colour on is beyond me though. I’m exhausted. I have deadlines hanging over my head. Till the end of the month I’m going to be juggling about 101 things. Assignments, my actual job and the blog (which is the one bit I don’t mind at all). I’ll need to rack up my hours of sleep though, otherwise I’ll be juggling a cold on top of all of that too.
With that said, I better get back to the books. Toodles for now!

You may have seen El’s shots from our day out in Highgate Village a couple of weeks back. It was a beautiful afternoon, where we layered up and kicked through masses of golden Autumnal leaves.
On another note, have you been enjoying our countdown to Christmas? You can probably tell we’re a little excited…! Are you?
We’ll see you tomorrow for some more countdown fun xx

Taken at London Fashion Weekend, these runway shots confirm that incorporating shades of indigo in your winter wardrobe is a must. This year however, it’s all about creating a fresh spin on your indigo pairings by using grey, khaki, violet colours and boyish tailoring to vamp up your blue. So add some oversized garments, create masculine silhouettes and transform yourself into ‘Sergeant Indigo’.
