This Ted Baker sequin detail clutch bag can be both chic white and flashy gold, depending which way you brush the sequins. So if you think about it, its an ideal office to party bag!
Two things you’ll never catch me without; firstly, some cute gold details. I usually buy my stacking rings from H&M in bulk. Inexpensive, quirky and easily replaceable if you lose them which I do all too often. Secondly, for me gel nails are a must. They’re the way forward and I can’t remember the last time I used polish. It’s definitely a few years ago now though. Not only do they last for ages (about two weeks) and stay looking fresh but they also help sustain your nail growth. Pretty much a perfect solution to annoying nail varnish which never went beyond a day. I own a Sensationail Kit. It’s a much more cost-effective way to always having great looking nails.
I am not quite sure where my fascination with moon and stars comes from. I remember spending quite a lot of time gazing into the starry sky as a little girl, whether it was out of my bedroom window in St Petersburg or school dorm in Scotland… it was beautiful and calming, I could look at it for hours!
If you have been following The Coup for a while you would have seen me choosing gorgeous night sky inspired pieces here and there. These Accessorize studs are my latest purchase. They are very petite, but add a lovely sparkle.
I have finally caved in and got myself a gold necklace. But not just any necklace, a one with a twist! No more agonising over what word best represents you and how you are feeling. With this golden alphabet from H&M, every day you can spell it out.
Today, I am feeling lucky!
Nothing beats a good ol’ watch. Practical, purposeful and (bonus!!) pretty as hell when it’s made by British brand Olivia Burton London .
I first ‘clocked’ this watch (gedd’it?!) about a week ago on fellow Kenzas’ blog. As an avid watch-wearer I have a decent collection that seems to be growing in size swiftly. I’ll give you a sneak peak some time soon. For now though, say hello to my latest addition…
White leather combined with rose gold to emulate a timeless, vintage look. For me, the combination is simply stunning. And… a perfect transitional summer piece. What d’ya think? I think I’ll be putting Michael aside for the next few weeks!

As a total sucker for anything remotely Chanel inspired, I fell hard for this mini cross body bag from River Island. I adore everything about it, it’s petite but not too small size, textured leather, boxy shape and sturdy gold chain. It will come with me everywhere!

You may have seen El’s shots from our day out in Highgate Village a couple of weeks back. It was a beautiful afternoon, where we layered up and kicked through masses of golden Autumnal leaves.
On another note, have you been enjoying our countdown to Christmas? You can probably tell we’re a little excited…! Are you?
We’ll see you tomorrow for some more countdown fun xx
Stacking gold rings have by far been my favourite micro trend of 2013, so much so that they have become a staple addition of mine. I recently bought a few cute ring sets from H&M as you can see in the above photo. If you’re looking to invest in some stacking rings, I suggest you get these, these and these from Hennes. Then mix n match your favourite pieces. The possibilities are endless!
As I’ve said before, every well dressed man should always wear a watch, but that watch needn’t put a dent your pocket. I opted to go with a classic piece for this outfit and wore a Casio watch. Cheap and cheerful, ever so reliable and always fashionable.
I’ve got an addiction for crisp, clean looks and I’m a fiend for a plain white shirt. Modeling this textured cotton slim fit shirt from Zara has left me feeling so fresh and so clean. Blurred Lines seems to be the summer anthem but thankfully I can’t relate because I have on my 3D spectacles making my views spec-tacular. I simply removed the lenses and Bobs your uncle……. you know the rest. 2 Chainz isn’t the only person with 2 chains (although there’s hardly a comparison in size and in price) as I too have one neck and 2 chains. Bought from ebay, they’re the best buy, accessory wise, for me this summer.
This is a Zara inspired outfit as I’m decked out from head to toe in their merchandise (they should really start paying me!). Playing it safe, I’m wearing black circular trousers.
These are the latest addition to my shoe collection. Black Monk strap shoes from Zara. Unfortunately no monk-like behavior resulted from wearing these, although, the only meditation I wanted to practice, was being at one with some laminate flooring, shuffling from side to side underneath a disco ball.

Floral prints are one of those rare prints that transcends all four seasons. We often see winter florals appear in shades of burgandy, grey, purple and so forth during the A/W season. Likewise brighter, more vibrant floral designs pop up during and throughout the S/S season. This dress is a funny one though. I bought it at Christmas but don’t you think however that it’s better suited to the S/S season? I’m loving the way it looks in the sun!
And, bonus, it’s pretty easy to dress up and down too! For a more casual look I have previously worn this dress with a pair of classic brown brogues and cute ankles socks. Today however, I’m emulating a feminine and more youthful look by sporting nude heels and a casual denim crop jacket.
The dress’s lightweight material means that I’m going to have to be a tad conscious of the wind blowing. We don’t want a boo-boo now, do we?!

Last Friday, hoping to find an outfit for that evening, I made a flying visit to Topshop in Oxford Circus. Having chosen a cute outfit, I ran upstairs to the bedazzling section – better known as the jewellery dept. – to find some pieces that would help jazz up my little combi. Now, one thing I love about Topshop is their love and passion for promoting smaller concessions by stocking their designs and giving them the opportunity to reach a wider market. The British brand Orelia is a fine example of this, and their pieces are divine. Focusing on petit jewellery designs that come in both gold and silver, Orelia pieces are perfect for adding a small yet substantial addition to any outfit. These are some pieces that caught my eye during my trip last Friday – the Hayden necklace being my absolute favourite!
