Looks like we are on a steam train heading for Spring! Yay, finally! I cannot wait for the day that I can vacuum pack away all my coats and knits. Spring is a great time to add a few new items to your closet, updating it for the next season. ASOS is my ultimate favourite online store, because they make whole experience smooth and safe. I am definitely guilty of browsing their site a little bit every few days. Here is what you will find in my ‘saved items’…I might just press the order button…

A fitted top, structured skirt and minimalistic heels – sometimes you’ve just got to keep it classic and clean. The drop in the temperature has encouraged me to play with texture instead of colour. So today, I’m keeping it simple with a little black number. Couldn’t resist a hint of colour though, hence the nails. Bisous beauts, have a great day!

Morning team. Happy Thursday!
The irony of these preppy schoolgirl photos is that… I have finally finished my studies!! I’ve spent the past two years juggling a lot of important things and my masters was one of them. For me, Summer was a time to knuckle down. Last Monday, however, marked my emancipation and since I have been spending my time enjoying being a normal twenty-six year old. And it feels good! Now, I’m looking forward to indulging in all of my hobbies, with Team Coup number one on my list.
For details on the outfit see the original post here!
Slightly disappointed with these beautiful heels by ASOS. They are gorgeous to look at but don’t have the same impact when they’re on. Something doesn’t quite fit right and the heel is awkwardly high, which makes them fairly uncomfortable. Annoying, especially as they took about two weeks for me to locate them. I was going to keep them just because they’re pretty but that wouldn’t be very sensible of me would it?! Aah well, it’s back to you ASOS. However, if you’d like to try them on for yourself you can do so here…
Air Max Thea – Pair One here // Pair Two here
My Monday fix! Hmm cute right? My fetish for Nikey’s hasn’t gone away since I bought these last winter. I’ve told myself that I’m going to be good this year and not buy more than one or two pairs. I have quite a few that I rarely wear so only I’m taking the stance of only conscientious shopping from now on. Haha, well I can at least try anyways right… Really feeling these black Air Max Thea’s by Nike. I bought an orange pair a few months ago; remember these? I now need a new pair to see me through winter but I think it’s time to tone it down a little. Really like the bottom pair, the ones on top are cute too. We’ll see which way I swing!
If you’re an avid reader of our blog then you’ll know that we both love a pair of classic heels. Suede or leather, the right pair of pumps can not only transform your outfit but, most importantly, the way you feel about yourself. The stilettos above are simply stunning. The bow detail makes them pretty perfect for injecting a subtle hint of femininity in to your look. They have firmly made it into my shopping basket this September. I’m looking forward to pairing these with a structed midi skirt. Yum!

Pinch, punch; it’s the first of the month. And Aprils fool :)
Check out my pink socks trying to make a guest appearance here. Haha! How are you guys doing? It’s Aprils fools day, got any prank ideas? I may play a joke on some of my students today. Whoever said teachers didn’t know how to have fun ey…
Hasn’t the weather been beautiful lately? Saturday was particularly lovely. Having spent the weekend chilling with friends I’ve pulled some photos out of the bank for you, although these shots were only taken last weekend. I picked up this shirt in February. It’s by Swedish brand Monki. I do love the contrast between the mini black and white squares, but the best thing about it is…
The leather collar! Cute right?
Hopefully the warm weather lasts so then both me and El can bring out our summer wardrobes for you. Wouldn’t that be nice?! :)
On a final note, both me and El want to give a special shout out to Mia who listed our blog as one to watch. Thanks Mia! You can read her review here
Monochrome Shirt – Monki; Leigh Jeans – Topshop; Bomber Coat – H&M; Chunky Boots – H&M (old)
I’ve never been one for buying the same thing in multiple colours but I’ll admit to owning these sweatshirts in all three of the colours above. I just love the way they cling to your body in all the right places and hang on all the others. They are totally perfect for tucking them into a cute pencil skirt. I do prefer leaving them loose however, and creating ethereal silhouettes as I’m moving to and fro. I’ve added to some additional items here to show you how I would pair them. You would have already seen the monochrome pairing here, but with a different skirt. You may see another pairing soon…! Well done Topshop, you’ve outdone yourself. These tops get not one, but two ticks from me.
Tops available here: pink, monochrome and, my personal favourite, orange
Additional items available here: super ripped jeans, leather biker mini, monochrome gingham tube, Nikey’s, gecko leather court shoes, clear clutch bag
You might have noticed everyone is sporting over the knee boots this season. As much as I like them, I found it pretty hard to find boots that would fit, so I prefer to stick to my good oldies – knee high boots from Bertie.
This length is a lot more versatile when it comes to working up an outfit around them. Paired here with M&S skirt and a fluffy angora jumper from ASOS.
To lighten up my sombre all black outfit I have worn chandelier earrings from Accessorize and Frazer Hart white gold ring. Have a great day everyone!
Hello comfort!! These trendy kicks are perfect for adding a pop of colour to your feet.
Nike Air Max 90 – ASOS
This week I will be doing a ‘how to’ trilogy on how to wear these Zara separates. Today I am going to start with how it was initially intended – to be worn together.
I have to admit that I’ve had this Zara suit combo in my wardrobe since February before I braved wearing it last week. And I cannot believe I have left it this long! I love the fit and the feel of the fabric.
This Japanese flower print couldn’t be more on trend for this Fall, worn with big crystal chandelier earrings it’s reminiscent of 1920’s ‘lounging’ ladies.
I have slipped on theses strappy heels from ASOS – open toes make the overall look less heavy.
What do you guys think? Do you love it as much as I do?
P.S. We are trying a little GIF action, let us know what you think of this new element!

1. Added to my wardrobe… Aldo bag
2. Operation Camoflage
3. Outfit Inspiration
The most terrifying trend of this years summer has to be The Crop Top! I am all up for revealing a bit of skin here and there, but it’s really hard to get it right without looking like you just came out of a yoga class.
For me, crop tops only work when paired with high-wasted items. Something about just revealing a thin slither of a waste line, I think is very sexy.
You can never go wrong with opting for monochrome on a night out. This fluffy H&M skirt, from their autumn collection advertised by Lana Del Ray, is so fun on it’s own, I had to keep everything else really simple and chic.
I am wearing:
H&M blazer (old); ASOS crop top; H&M fluffy white skirt (old); Zara heels (old)
Any one that has had the pleasure (and stress) of rummaging through my wardrobe will vouch for my fondness of colours. In my eyes, all things bright are beautiful.
A little under two weeks ago my amazing colleagues treated me to a birthday shopping trip in central London. After spending hours – which felt like minutes – getting lost in Topshop I decided on this mini number by London brand, TFNC.
Now I know the colours are a little on the bright side but I absolutely adore this piece! The focus on block colours meant that it was easier and best to keep my accessories to a minimum. A perfect time to wear those ASOS ‘Hollywood’ heels I bought a couple months ago. Likewise the feathered simplicity of my clutch bag and my timeless, gold Michael Kors piece helped add both texture and jazz.
Now all we need is the sunshine to last…!
