Hello Autumn. My precious. My favourite season of the year.
Yesterday I said that I’d wear my new boots for you; what do you think? I’m so in love with them and, bonus, the heel is one I could easily spend the whole day in. I’ve paired them with my new Angora jumper which is a slight pain in the bum. It sheds like crazy! I’m looking for a solution so if any of you know how to stop fluffy jumpers from shedding, please share! Also, there’s nothing like a couple of gold accessories to add a little bit of glitz and glamour :)
Angora Jumper – H&M, Mini Tube – Topshop, Oversize Boots – H&M (I couldn’t find them online but here are a similar pair), Gold Suede Bag – Zara (old), Chunky Curb Collar – Topshop, Stacking Rings – H&M, Gold Chronography Watch – Michael Kors
Me and El went shopping this weekend. As usual, we had a lovely time. I also found a gorgeous pair of oversized boots in H&M. I’m in love! Here’s a little sneak peak of what they look like. I know I know, I shouldn’t tease you. I promise I’ll pair them with an outfit and shoot some photos for you later though.
This is what I wore yesterday. A casual tee, dressed up with a fitted midi and a pair of heels. And also my French Connection ‘Let It Be Rock’ studded leather coat. You might remember me lusting over it last year…!
I love the detail on the arms. I can’t lie; it’s quite heavy to wear. But it does the trick when I want to spruce up a simple outfit.
Representing for my team…
Team nerd all the way!
Have a beautiful day
‘Let It Be Rock’ – French Connection (old); ‘Nerd’ Tee – Topshop (similar here); Tube Skirt – Topshop (similar here); Ankle Boots – Aldo (these are uber cute too); Sundance Watch – Dolce & Gabbana; Sweetie Bracelet – Links of London;
Finding a good, oversize clutch can be tricky business but this clutch is beautiful. I love the simplicity of it.
Leather Clutch – Zara
I’m in love with this Sandre Aztec Sequin Mini Dress. I must admit, I’ve never purchased anything from Missguided before but I can’t wait to have this piece in my wardrobe. I’d pair this with minimalistic, strappy white sandals though. Perhaps these River Island ‘Barely There’ beauties?

H&M have just announced a new Autumn collaboration with French designer Isabel Marant. For H&M, Isabel Marant will create a selection of must-have pieces inspired by her signature Parisian chic style. Mixing boho elements with a dash of rock-n-roll, she will also, for the first time, be creating a collection for men.

(I can’t believe I am saying this but)
– we couldn’t be more excited about fall!

If there was an award for one red carpet regular who can pull off any look, the award would have to go to Jennifer Lawrence. Honestly, in my opinion, this girl can do no wrong. Every look she tries to achieve she gets spot on.
Two weeks ago, at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, Jennifer wore this sterling jumpsuit by Stella McCartney. Fitted at the waist with tailored, boy-fit trousers, matched with sexy, black, stiletto heels: this outfit embodies masculine femininity perfectly. Likewise however, on Sunday, Lawrence turned a complete 360 degrees and indulged in her innocent, youthful side at the BAFTA’s. Wearing a pretty in pink Dior Haute Couture gown hollywoods new favourite looked nothing short of a dream. Breath-taking…

There’s nothing like letting your young, quirky, fun-loving self show through your dress sense. Motif jumpers and t-shirts have been around for a little while now. I have a couple motif tops in my wardrobe but non of these pieces below. What do you think? Me, I love them all. Which one’s your favourite?
‘Fun Fun’ Sweater – Zoe Karssen; White Zip Wrap Aline Skirt – Topshop; ‘Tara’ – Charlotte Olympia; ‘Geek’ Tee – Topshop; Super Slim Trousers – Mango; Kitty Flats – Charlotte Olympia; Genius Jumper – Topshop; Wax Coated Jeans – Pierre Balmain; Hodell – Aldo;
I wish I was wearing this little combo today. I love the waterfall cardigan. It’s totally perfect for wrapping it around yourself in this cold weather. Leather trousers have always been a must, especially loose fitted ones which are perfect for both comfort and style. And Kitty Flats, need I say any more?
Simple Pyramid Stud Earrings – Accessorize; Draped Cashmere Cardigan – Idris and Ink; Cut Out Vest Body – Miss Selfridge; Tri Hardware Chain Bag – Topshop; Leather Track Pants – See by Chloe; Kitty Flats – Charlotte Olympia;
While its snowing outside, lets take a sneak peek at the bright, fun things coming next season. Here are our favourites from the SS13 collections. Which one’s your favourite?
This week, we have to award our ‘Spot On’ title to the beautiful Emma Stone. From Elle to Vogue covers, Hollywood’s newest sweetheart seems to be everywhere at the moment; which comes unsurprising when she looks as stunning as she did, sitting in the front row of Miu Miu’s SS13 show at Paris Fashion Week. Pairing a couture prom dress with red lipstick, cherry coloured heels, soft curls and, of course, a Miu Miu printed handbag, Emma Stone raised the bar on ‘Parisian chic’. Simple yet effective, Stone looked more than superbad!

We have all been watching the coverage in Paris fashion week, patiently waiting for industry’s big guns to show us what to expect in Spring Summer 2013. When Chanel presented their collection, there was one accessory that got everyone buzzing. The hula hoop Chanel quilted bag!I must say it still manages to hold that mesmerising appeal, but not sure how it will work with commuters packed train in the mornings! After lots of speculation, we finally got to hear the idea behind it from Karl Lagerfeld himself. Speaking to Telegraph newspaper, Karl said “It’s for the beach, You need space for the beach towel. And then you can put it into the sand and hang things on it.”
Ah, that explains it!
