Hi all! Remember my search for perfect patent pumps back in March? Well I can finally say that the search has ended! More precisely ended as soon as I stepped into an Aldo store on Oxford street…
How sexy are these Livergnano pumps? They add an elegant touch to any look. I look forward to dressing them up and dressing them down… wearing all summer around!
Pretty in pink? No, i’m a panther in pink!
There comes a time in every mans life when he’s unwillingly forced to change his style and keep up with the trends. Pressure from the lady friend to try new things (usually along the lines of “babe, Harry is soo stylish, you should get some tips from him” or she takes matters into her own hands and starts buying you clothes) are the triggers to this ‘male style’ crisis.Crisis?! What crisis? Just put on a pink blazer and strut down the high street smooth as a panther would. Here i am in a Zara slim fit blazer, complimented with a plain white stretchy shirt from Zara, along with pair of skinny jeans from River Island.
I’m wearing a pair of combination desert shoes courtesy of Zara in a black suede and leather look. They are style meets comfort and thats a combination that agrees with my feet.

Another animal print addition to my shoe collection. I could not resist taking a pic of these printed leather sandals from Zara as soon as they came out of the box! These sandals are a perfect summer staple! I will be wearing them with my mini messenger bag in leopard print, also from Zara, here. Don’t you think they will look great together?
Better late than never but never late is better I know, but, ‘it’s been a while’ is an understatement! The good girls here at the Coup have done a sterling job keeping you Coups and Coupettes up to date and ahead in this wonderful world we call Fashion. However, just as the old seasons fade and the new ones bloom, I’m back to brighten up the days.
Although I’ve been away, the shopping never stops! On many occasions, I tried and tried and tried to resist temptation and stay clear of the high street. It worked, until I saw this black velvet two tone bomber jacket with leather sleeves from Zara.
It was paid for and packaged (all in my head) before I had even tried it on! It was a ‘must have’ as soon as saw it.
I wore a pair of black ripped skinny jeans from Zara to compliment the bomber jacket.
Now finding these Orange Patrick Mohr Kx1 (sold out everywhere) trainers was like trying to mine gold in England. Search upon search, avenue upon avenue and one lead after the other, I kept coming up with nothing. I finally got my hands on a pair and parted with a lot of my money but it was money well spent! Last but not least, I accessorized with a Michael Kors black chronograph silicone strap watch.
It’s good to be back.

What d’ya think of my new trainers? I actually bought these a few weeks ago but you’ve been seeing so much footwear from me (especially trainers, which have become a bit of a guilty pleasure for me) that I thought I’d give you a break. Considerate, that’s me! Lol. Anyways, how fresh are these?! I frigging love them. When I bought them, I was on my way to meet some old friends for dinner. When I looked into the shop display as I walked past Office in central London, these beauts were just sat there casually, smiling at me, waiting someone to show them a little love. I tried to ignore them and carry on walking but when I got a little further down the road I just had to turn around. I tried them on and they just hugged my feet and stuck to them, a little like glue would. Funnily enough when I got to the restaurant about 20 minutes later with my new purchase, I found out that all 5 of my friends were running late. Divine intervention perhaps?! :) I’m looking forward to summer just so I can wear these all.damn.day. Woop!
Have a good day peeps!

So, these are the new trainers that everyone seems to be caving into. It’s funny because they aren’t actually new. No, not at all: they were actually all the rage when I was in secondary school, a whole 10 years ago…! But then, as always, the trend disappeared and like clockwise came around again.
They are a little usual in the sense that they aren’t the ‘cutest’ pair of trainers. But hey, what is ‘cute’? And comfort-wise, my oh my! I love them; they’re my new go-to pair when I’m on the run. They are quirky, unusual and admittedly, I do enjoy wearing things that aren’t considered particularly pretty or conventional and convincing people otherwise.

For a shoe addict such as myself, I was absolutely shocked to have realised that I do not own a pair of classic black pumps! I have every colour and pattern under the rainbow, strappy, chunky, kitten heel or a wedge, yet when it comes to a staple such as black patent leather stiletto, there seems to be a black hole in my shoe organiser.
Since this little wardrobe problem has been brought to my attention, I have started the search for the perfect pump (just give me a reason to shop for shoes!). If money was no object I would head straight to Christian Louboutin, for his Pigalle 120 patent leather pumps, above.
But with the budget of around £150, this is a selection that I have narrowed all my findings down to.
On the weekend I shall go and try these babies on and let you know which pair is the winner! Ta-ta!
Morning birds and bees!
I realised that I didn’t show you my new court shoes. You saw them in Fridays outfit post but there’s no close up shots. I bought these about 2 weeks ago and decided to go for something with a little twist, hence the sling backs. As of late I’m getting really good at strutting my stuff in heels. Okay, I don’t exactly strut but you know what I mean. Whoever said practise makes perfect just may have had a point…
Gecko Black Leather Courts – Topshop
Ooh how badass are these?! I really like (want!) them. The lucid heel adds a perfect touch of edgyness, and breaks down the heaviness of the black. Yum!
Soiree Heel – Jeffrey Campbell
Got ’em. And I love them!! I ended up finding a white pair but I really didn’t like them on. So I stuck to these. They are really cute, and make my feet look tiny. Result!

When the idea of trainers with heels first popped up last year, I was totally against it. Everything about it just sounded wrong. I’m eating my words now though because I’m seriously lusting over these bad boys. Ideally I’d get them in white: they’d be perfect as a transitional S/S piece. Problem though? But I just can’t seem to find them anywhere. These black ones are okay so I may settle for these. If anyone knows where they have the white ones in stock though, you know what to do…! :)

It’s still very frosty outside, but with shops slowly introducing spring stock it is all getting me very excited for the next season. I look at my wardrobe and ask myself ‘Am I prepared for spring, when it does finally come?
Animal print is always on my mind. Sorry, I keep going on and on about it, but it’s an uncontrollable obsession. I always try to incorporate this print into an outfit in minimalist way, even if it means holding myself back from doing an all over print overdose.
What’s so wonderful about these items in particular, you say?
Well, it’s quite simple – they do half of the job of mixing print for you.
I love how NEWBARK clutch incorporated polka dots with animal print, this unusual combination surprisingly works. And CHARLOTTE D’ORSAY pumps carry a zingy colour injection for that fresh spring feel.
I just cannot wait for spring to come!
Houston, we have a problem!
My shoe fetish seems to be getting worse. To be honest, I wasn’t even aware that I had one but lately I can’t seem to get enough of buying shoes. Unintentionally (intentionally?!), recently I’ve bought more types of footwear than I have anything else. It all started with these oversized beauties. My new kicks came not too long after that, and then most recently (like last week!) I got these dreamy heels and flats. I’m not complaining though, I just hope this isn’t getting a tad repetitive for you…
One thing I am annoyed by is that these boots aren’t on H&M’s website. This is the second time this has happened, where I haven’t been able to link you to the actual product. I bought my pair in Oxford Circus the other evening and I’ve seen them in quite a few of the central London branches. Mine are made from genuine leather and were only £40. They have a leather imitation pair on the website for a little less, which you can check out here. The difference between the two however is that the leather pair look A LOT better. I’d personally recommend you making a trip down store!
It’s not often that I buy plain pumps. My favourites usually involve some kind of print or at least chain detail across the front. My friend actually bought these before me in a burgundy colour a few months ago but I recently decided to opt for the black pair in this years sales. A classic cut, and I really like the hard-meets-soft incorporation of both suede with a clean looking leather finish. New staple shoe? I think so. Well, perhaps when it gets a little warmer outside…!
