I Love: Coco’s Fortune Bustier Maxi Dress

Two days ago I came across this beautiful ‘lace-meets-mesh’ Maxi dress on the boutique section of Topshop.com and, for some reason beyond me, I forgot to checkout! I returned to Topshop last night only to find that my little beauty was gone, finito; in simple terms, sold out! Argh!! While I was in a total state of panic my big sister (who is now my knight in shining armour) had a brainwave – ‘why don’t you check the boutiques website? Genius! My dress is now safely in the post, making its way towards my welcoming wardrobe!
I’ve fallen head over heels with this Coco’s Fortune Bustier Maxi Dress. It is feminine, breathtaking and simply beautiful. To bring out the best of this garment, I’d pair it with some chunky black heels. This will help accentuate the black waist band and consequently its shape. Equally, jewellery-wise, I’d either go for a bold, gold necklace and simple pair of stud earrings or a pair of drop-down earrings, no necklace and a statement ring. Remember, less is always more!

1. Coco’s Fortune Bustier Maxi Dress – £69, Rarelondon.com
2. Office Weaponize Wedge – £55
3. Angelic Pierced Earrings – £59, Swarovski.com
4. Statement Pharaoh Collar Necklace – £35, Asos.com
5. Deco box bag from Warehouse, £26
6. Wire Cuff from Topshop, £12.50

Be sure to check out my review on Rare London, which will be posted in the next couple of days.

  1. Hi there! I’m a bit behind on discovering this beautiful dress but would love to get my hands on a size 8 for a wedding I’ve to go to in May. Do you have any suggestions as to where I could find one? It’s sold out in topshop and although Rare London says that it’s available in a size 8 it’s not when you go to buy it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :-)

  2. Hi Lauren,
Have you tried Topshop in Oxford Circus? It’s a pretty old dress, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they still had it in store. They have a Rare London concession department. If you’re in London, that’s probably your best bet. Good luck! :)

  3. That’s brilliant! Thanks a million. I don’t live in the UK but I’ll phone them and if they have it perhaps they could post it to me. Thanks again :-)
